Women should be able to go their entire lives without wearing makeup or heels if they don’t want to, without getting called slobby, or unprofessional, or “doesn’t care about her image”, or being fucking denied jobs for not wanting to wear heels or makeup at work every day. People…do? Did you know you can go across the great lakes in a rowboat and not be stopped? You’re far more likely to be stopped coming back from Canada than going to Canada, and there’s multiple stories you can look up on that. And most of the instances of people who get stopped strongly smell of profiling.

I would also have appreciated: the fact that you can do something if you try very, very hard, does not actually obligate you to spend your life putting forth maximum effort to achieve it. There is no deadline! Its all ok! You will get there when you get there, but for now, just focus on preparing for adulthood and finishing your brain polishing.
When you feel like life ends at 25, its because people after that are in a different life stage you can’t empathize with yet. But eventually, you will get there and realize you are only 25% through life.
